Pilot Production & Vendor Coordination

Bridging the gap from validated prototype to repeatable production — with the vendor relationships and process discipline to do it right.

Our Approach

#

At Kabani Tech, pilot production is where most hardware products either prove they are ready to scale or reveal the hidden issues that would surface in full production at the worst possible time. We manage pilot runs with the rigour of full production — documenting every process, measuring every yield metric, and resolving every issue before volume ramps.

We coordinate directly with contract manufacturers, tooling vendors, test labs, and logistics partners — giving clients a single point of accountability for the transition from prototype to production.

Scale Your Brand
01

NPI Package Preparation

Full NPI documentation package prepared and reviewed with the CM before any production begins.

02

Pilot Build Execution

Pilot run executed with on-site or remote oversight, yield data collected, and issues logged in real time.

03

Pilot Review & Corrections

Pilot findings reviewed, process corrections implemented, and pilot sign-off criteria verified.

04

Production Ramp Approval

Formal production approval given with ramp schedule agreed, capacity confirmed, and quality gates defined.

Common questions

Frequently Asked

01

Do we need a pilot run if we already have working prototypes?

Yes. Prototypes and production builds use different processes, equipment, and operators. A pilot run validates that the product can be built repeatably, not just once.

02

Can you recommend contract manufacturers?

Yes. We have established relationships with CMs across the UAE, Malaysia, China, and Europe, and can recommend partners appropriate for your product type and volume.

03

What happens if the pilot run has a high failure rate?

We investigate root causes, implement process corrections, and re-run any failed sections before granting production approval. We do not approve production ramp until pilot quality targets are met.

04

How long does a pilot run typically take?

Pilot run execution typically takes 2–6 weeks depending on build quantity and complexity. Add 2–4 weeks for NPI documentation preparation beforehand.
